Common questions

No. deployX abstracts away all the Docker and Traefik complexity. You click deploy, fill in a few settings, and the platform handles the rest. That said, every app runs as a Docker Compose stack so advanced users can always inspect and modify things.
Any Ubuntu 22+ VPS with at least 1 vCPU and 1 GB RAM will work for the platform itself. For deploying apps you'll want more resources — 2 GB+ RAM is recommended. deployX works on Hetzner, DigitalOcean, Vultr, Linode, AWS EC2, and most other providers.
Yes. Run the agent install script on any additional server and it registers automatically. You can then deploy apps to specific servers, and deployX will fall back to any available server if your preferred region has no capacity.
Billing is entirely optional. If you enable it, users must subscribe to a plan before they can deploy apps. Plans are configured in the admin panel and linked to Stripe Price IDs you create in your Stripe dashboard. Coupon codes and free trials (7 or 30 days) are supported natively through Stripe Checkout.
100%. deployX runs entirely on your own server. No data is sent to any third party — not us, not Coolify, nobody. The Coolify app catalog is synced from a public Git repo to your server. The only external connection is Stripe (if billing is enabled) and Let's Encrypt for SSL certificates.
Yes. You can set your own platform name, logo, domain, footer, and all website content from the admin settings. Your clients see a fully branded experience — from the marketing homepage to the client dashboard — with no deployX branding if you choose.
